Home Inspections

 Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection in order to discover and document defects that may or may not be obvious to you as a prospective buyer.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs, to severe damage or safety and health concerns.

Sasquatch Property Services, LLC home inspections are conducted according to standards of practice (SOPs) developed by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Areas of the home to be inspected include, the roof ,exterior, basement/crawlspace/foundation, heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, attic insulation and ventilation, doors, windows and interior. The inspection is a thorough, non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of the property in order to identify defects within specific systems and components defined by these standards that are both observed and deemed material by the inspector.  

After having examined the home and it's systems, a detailed report of findings will be prepared. We will walk you through our report and observations and also provide notes pertaining to proper maintenance and upkeep of observed systems. We also always encourage our clients to be present and walk with us during the home inspection. Often, this can be very helpful as you will know where items are located throughout the home, can observe and discuss any defects along with us and we can provide tips for upkeep and proper maintenance while observing the items and systems being referenced. The only place we cannot welcome clients to follow is anywhere requiring the use of our ladders.
